5 interview mistakes

1. Lack of preparation.

Nothing communicates disinterest like a candidate who has not bothered to do pre-interview research.

2. Poor time management.

One of the first lessons in job-search ettiquette is to show up on time for interviews. ideally, you should arrive 10 minutes earlier.

3. Lack of confidence / overconfidence.

Lack of confidence and avoiding eye-contact can create negative effect. On the other hand, being overconfident may turn interviews off as you may be viewed as a baggart who talks more than you deliver.

4. Unnecessary jabber.

It is not wise to talk too much and fail to listen and understand the question asked.

5. Critical of current / previous employers.

No one likes a person who complains; it is not recommended icebreaker.

By avoiding yourself from doing those silly mistake, there will be a hope for you to get that job :) Goodluck!
